Space Access 2019 will be the next round of Space Access Society's conference on the technology, business, and politics of radically cheaper space transportation, brought to you this year in cooperation with the Bay Area's own Experimental Rocket Propulsion Society.
And it's coming up fast! Five weeks from this Thursday SA2019 gets underway. The Marriott is ten miles from the San Jose Airport, 24 from Oakland - book your flights soon before fares go up. And there's no guarantee the Marriott will honor our special $130 room rates after March 26th - our rate block is already sold out for Wednesday night, and Thursday-Saturday are going fast, so book your room soon also! Conference Registration also goes up after the 26th, from the current $180 advance rate for Regular membership to $220, other rates also rising. Register now, and join us!
SA2019 will feature a cross-section of the growing cheap access community, talking about what's going on now and what happens next, in an intensive informal atmosphere, single-track throughout so you don't have to miss anything. Space Access has been described as "Hackers" for rocket people, with better content than other space conferences costing many times more. It's three days of total immersion in making the future happen.

SA2019 Conference Presentations Schedule updated 3/10/19
This presentations schedule represents 90% of the final SA2019 three-day program. Things have evolved toward our having three major focus areas over the three days of the program: On Thursday, we feature the current Entrepreneurial Revolution in Smallsat Launch. On Friday, the near-future transition to Reusable-Rocket Transport Networks in Cislunar Space. And on Saturday, the eventual transition to Getting There Faster: Advanced High-Energy Space Propulsion. Stay tuned for minor schedule tweaks, more detail on presentations start-time & duration, and a few final program additions in the coming weeks.
We're still interested in Student Space Project Presentations - we have just a few short (5-10 minute) timeslots left in the main program track for student/amateur presentations on interesting (not necessarily directly access-related) space projects. Contact space.access@mindspring.com
Regular SA2019 registration is $180 through March 26th, $220 thereafter. Student full-conference advance rate is $60, rising to $80 after the 26th. Exhibitor goes up from $300 to $400, Patron up from $400 to $500. Register soon at SA2019 online registration. Day rates available at the door.
Exhibition Space
We will have a combined Hospitality space and Exhibitor Room in the Fremont mini-ballroom, right across the foyer from the main SA2019 Presentations Ballroom. Exhibitor membership will get you one Regular membership, a 6' or 8' display table, and two chairs. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. When space is filled we will create a waitlist. Register at the $300 Exhibitor Rate while it's still available at SA2019 online registration
Conference Hotel is the Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley.
Hotel Rooms. We have negotiated a special deal for the convention, with a room rate of only $130 per night (in Silicon Valley!) so book your room early to keep you in the heart of the conference. Call (510) 413-3700, ask for Reservations, and mention "Space Access 2019" to get this rate and be in our room block. Conference-Discount Reservation cutoff is after 26 March 2019 - our special rate may or may not be available after that date. So book your room soon!

Hotel Note: Our Wednesday-night $130-rate room block is full. The Marriott is quoting much higher rates for Wednesday outside our block. You might want to look for a better Wednesday 4/17/19 rate nearby at this link. (The Extended Stay America right next door seems to still have reasonable Wednesday rates.) The Marriott does have rooms left at our rates for Thursday-Sunday. Even if you need to stay elsewhere Wednesday night we would appreciate your coming back to the Marriott after that, for your added convenience and to help us make our contractual room-nights obligation. we don't do rubber-chicken banquets - just an intensive single-track
presentations schedule with relaxed on-your-own meal breaks, in a
setting with comfortable places in the hotel and nearby to go off for
food, drink, and talk, including our Space
Access Hospitality corner in
the Exhibits hall.
